Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) – the largest technical university in the Baltic States! FACULTY OF ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL ENGINEERING
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering was founded in 1947. In 1988–1993 it was called the Faculty of Energetics. In 1967 the Faculty of Automation was founded. In 1993 these two faculties were joined together, and so the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation was formed. In 2005 under the resolution of the Senate its name was changed into the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering. Full-time academic and research staff of 79 employees includes 15 professors and 41 associate professors. 910 students (including 130 master students and 380 extramural bachelor students) are enrolled in the Faculty.
